My Story

I was born in the heart of Cairo, Egypt, where I grew up surrounded by a rich, vibrant culture that sparked my curiosity about the world and inspired me to explore other cultures. During my youth in Egypt, I captained my water polo team for nine consecutive years and had the honor of playing on the Egyptian National U-16 team. Driven by a passion for learning and adventure, I set my sights on the United States for university, starting a new chapter at the University of Miami in August 2021.

At UM, I’ve been pursuing a double major in Business Technology and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Creative Writing—three fields that perfectly blend my diverse passions. My fascination with startups comes from a desire to build impactful ventures, and studying Business Technology and Entrepreneurship equips me with the skills to bring those dreams to life. My love for rare books and reading led me to Creative Writing, where I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for storytelling, fueling my vision to open a bookstore in both Cairo and the U.S.

I’m also deeply interested in astronomy and history, which feed my curiosity about the universe and humanity’s journey within it. These interests inspire me to explore, whether it's venturing into new fields, creating innovative ideas, or uncovering stories from the past. Now, as a senior set to graduate in May 2025, I’m eager to pursue a client-facing career in sales, business development, or project management that will help me gain the experience needed to start my own business one day.
